My dad drove us up to this hotel in Kuala Terengganu, where we'll be staying at for one night before taking the ferry to Pulau Redang tomorrow morning. I'm trying to get as much done as possible before Redang since there probably won't be wifi there; I'm currently freeloading off the hotel lobby's wifi, haha. In the three hours since we reached here, I've managed to get at least
something done.
I had moved down the car and the "light rays" first, but encountered a problem after doing so; the Mercedes Benz Logo, which had a black background that interfered with part of the light rays. I fixed this by going on to Photoshop and made the background of the logo transparent using the Magic Eraser (which works like magic, by the way!) and then saving it as a TIFF file because CMYK images cannot be saved as png files. After doing this, I replaced the logo with the background with the transparent one. Everything went smoothly after that, resulting in Draft #4, as shown above.
All that's left to do now is to add the text! I haven't really decided which function or specialty of the G Wagon to emphasise on, but I know it has to have something to do with the "slogan" I decided on weeks ago,
Sleek & Sophisticated.
