For the past few weeks, we have been learning the basics of using Adobe Illustrator. Graphic design is a module that I enjoy a lot since I've always had an interest in graphic designing. Even though I have been using Adobe Photoshop for about 5 years now, Illustrator was something I was not very familiar with and it took a while for me to get used to it. I'm proud to say that after about a month of successful lessons, I have managed to draw and colour in an ant all by myself on Illustrator! (with Ms Teh's help, of course)
It's pretty simple; all you need is an outline of an ant, the Pen tool, the Direct Selection tool and the Gradient tool. I made a GIF to show the process of making the ant:
